Defining The Domestic Goddess

I'm not sure what you think when you hear the term "Domestic Goddess". There are several definitions...none of which satisfy me. So I have made my own definition.

Domestic Goddess: A woman who has been hand-picked by the Goddesses. She is not meant to surpass the Goddesses, but to bring a bit of their flare to the modern world. A candidate must not be satisfied with the titles: Homemaker or Housewife. She must be quirky, and playful. Smart, and adventurous. Protective and nurturing. Romantic and daring. A Domestic Goddess must never be content to be like "other mortals". She must constantly be on the hunt for new things, new ideas, and new ways to express herself regardless of what society thinks. A Goddess is by no means perfect and neither are their proteges. Imperfections make a Domestic Goddess. She is invited to be herself and celebrate life to the fullest.

I'm not sure what this blog will morph into, but for now it will be filled with random awesomeness. Or something like that.
